Over the years, the building at 43 Obroki Street in Katowice served as the headquarters for the "06 Kleofas" boxing club, a club that played an important role in the city for over a century. In addition to bringing together youth from the surrounding area, it was a place where boxing fans could watch professional tournaments. Despite the less-than-ideal facility conditions, competitors continued honing their skills and winning tournaments. The land under the building was owned by a coal mine, and when the mine went bankrupt, it was sold.
By the end of 2015, the building was demolished.
